General
Our team of nutritionists, dietitians and other allied health professionals will first look at your individual health and lifestyle needs. They will then develop useful strategies to guide you on your journey to better health. Our team will help you to set your health goals, and track and measure your progress, supporting you every step of the way.
Through the NDIS, eligible clients can receive funding that they can use to access Kinela supports and services. Please see the below details on the funding categories for each service:
Dietitian Coaching:
Can be 100% funded by the NDIS under:
Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living (line item: 15_056_0128_1_3)
OR
Capacity Building – Improved Health and Wellbeing (line item: 12_025_0128_3_3)
Occupational therapy:
Can be 100% funded by the NDIS under:

Meal Preparation and Delivery:
Co-funded by the NDIS under:
Core Supports – Daily Activities – Assistance with the cost of preparation and delivery of meals (line item: 01_022_0120_1_1)
The NDIS does not cover the cost of food (ingredients themselves), so there is a small co-payment required from the participant to cover this.

The Kinela dietitian team are experienced in supporting customers with allergies, intolerances, disorders, diabetes and other chronic diseases. As such they’re able to use their knowledge to deliver tailored meal plans that will provide positive health outcomes for each individual. They aim to improve not just customers’ physical health, but also their mental health and overall outlook.
Using Kinela, you’ll have easy access to our dietitians. We understand that people living with a disability can sometimes find it challenging to get to meetings or commitments, which is why we’re flexible and will work around you. Our dietitians can visit you in the comfort of your own home, meet you at a café, chat with you over the phone or via an online video call, and even meet you at a supermarket, helping you shop to your personal dietary requirements and budget. They can also hold education sessions with carers or support workers, to make sure they are up to date on your meal plan and health goals.
Best of all, the Kinela dietitian services are fully funded by NDIS plans.
The Kinela occupational therapy team are experienced in supporting customers with a variety of needs, with a human, and goal centred approach. Our OT team enable people to participate in activities of daily life such as self-care, dressing and personal hygiene, ensuring safety and comfort during transport, falls prevention, safety and home modifications, and sensory processing to help understand their environment and improve function.
We understand that people living with a disability can sometimes find it challenging to get to meetings or commitments, which is why we’re flexible and will work around you. Our allied health team can visit you in the comfort of your own home, meet you at a café, chat with you over the phone or via an online video call.
Best of all, the Kinela occupational therapy services are fully funded by NDIS plans.

- Get set up with our friendly team:
First things first, let’s get you set up on our program. Call our friendly team on 1800 431 621, or visit our website at kinela.com and fill in the contact form. It is a short and simple process whereby our team will collect your details, take care of your NDIS service booking and tailor a personalised program that meets your health needs and funding allowances. - Commencing services:
If you sign up for allied health services:
Once you’re signed up to the system, your clinician will give you a call to discuss your health goals and work with you to design a program that will help you achieve them. Our friendly team will then book in your initial session face to face or via phone/ video consult and continue to support you along your health journey.
If you sign up for meal delivery services:
Once you’re signed up to the system, we’ll put you in contact with one of our Kinela qualified dietitians or nutritionists to organise your tailored meal plan. They will take into account your circumstances, current diet, preferred meals and health goals to ensure your meal plan is exactly what you need to reach your goals. Don’t worry, you can swap, pause or update your meal plan at any time by contacting our friendly team.
Alternatively, you have the flexibility to order yourself by choosing from a selection of our tasty meals each week. Our Kinela menu caters to a wide range of dietary requirements and includes vegetarian, made without wheat and made without dairy options.

Yes, we now offer a delicious range of 12 texture modified meals. Developed by a team of dietitians and prepared by chefs, Kinela’s texture modified meals are are IDDSI* compliant for ‘minced and moist’ and ‘pureed’ textures — without compromising on flavour, health or convenience. Meal Delivery
Most customers with Kinela are on a rotating meal plan designed by our in-house nutritionists and dietitians based on your goals and taste preferences. The best part of being on a meal plan is you don’t need to remember to place your order each week as we do it for you. Don’t worry though, you can update, pause or cancel your meal plan at any time!
If you’d like to place your own orders each week, the easiest way to order is on our website. Login to browse through our menu and make your selections. Alternatively, you can call us on 1300 448 100 or email us at [email protected] to place your order. Orders are due before 5 PM every Wednesday for delivery the following week.
We deliver to Sydney, Blue Mountains, Wollongong, Canberra, Central Coast, Newcastle, Bathurst, Goulburn Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Brisbane regions. We are growing quickly and adding new areas to all the time, so contact us with your postcode and we’ll see what we can do for you.

It’s not essential to be home. However, some people do prefer it, especially if there is not a secure location the driver can leave your box. The drivers can leave your box where you request it according to your delivery instructions.
Just give us a call if you weren’t 100% happy with where the box was left and we’ll do what we can to fix any issues.
Allied Health Services
Yes, they are. Our dietitian services can be fully funded by your NDIS plan. If you require these services, ask your planner during your meeting. You can Contact Us for help in preparation for your meeting with your NDIS planner.
